Walked the neighborhood for worms &#8211; found one crusty one on a dry sidewalk. Found the princess fishing rod in garage and practiced how to operate it. Arrive at nearby park with fresh water fish. Cut worm in half and baited up. 1 minute later, worm was eaten but no fish. Baited up other half of worm and tried again. Caught a 6&#8243; floppin slimey active fish! <br \/>Realized nobody wanted to actually touch the fish to unhook it. Watched it flop around and go back into the water on its own. Success!! \ud83d\ude42 <br \/>No more worms. Tried chicken nuggets but the pieces kept falling off the hook; fish didn&#8217;t mind the easy food though.<\/p>\n<p>Lessons re-learned: be spontaneous and have more worms on hand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last minute plan to fish today.
