“Clean up!”

When Austen threw her food today at lunch, Mommy took her out of the high chair and, using only words and pointing, made her pick up each and every piece of food she had thrown and put it in the trash can. Mommy was amazed at how well Austen understood what was being said to her and gave her lots of praise for cleaning up.

Thanks Kelly and Riley for this idea. It worked!

A Smile from Timmy. Look, Austen’s Mommy brought two dozen samosas!

Austen got stuck in the big yellow bubble twice and Mommy had to rescue her (Julie too) and she didn’t get a gift in the gift exchange (they ran out) but she had a fun time nonetheless.

Mommy brought a veggie platter, which was a big hit, and Austen tried a ginger bread cookie — she preferred peas and corn. Austen loved running around with the other kids, including her play group friend Natalie.

Mommy got candy cane bath wash in the gift exchange, but she can’t believe she’s now going to Christmas Parties that start at 10:30am!
