Like his big sister, Gage likes animal sounds at almost 2. Unlike his big sister, he’ll sit still while you read him a book (especially if there are cars in it, trains in it, or animals he likes to mimic in it) and seems interested in letters — but this is probably because he loves to copy his big sister.He’s speaking in two word sentences. “My ball!” “Austie school!” when Austen’s going to school. “Mama’s bottle” while holding up my iced tea cup. “Car! Car! Bus! Bus! Choo Choo!”
Gage is obsessed. He wants to grab every one in sight and will fight for possession. His favorite books have pictures of the above.
