Germs 101

Using a microscope, we looked at some dirty water that was pooled in the Radio Flyer wagon and found some creepy worm-like organisms with tentacles. Hopefully, this results in more hand washing!

Not wanting to miss all the action, Gage excitedly chanted “my turn!” but didn’t quite figure out how to view using only one eye. So, he put his forehead/eye area up to the microscope, blinked a lot, wondered what all the fuss was about…and then moved on. Then, he repeated the process after each of Austen’s turns.

Language Artist

Gage is shocking us all with his language explosion. Talking in sentences — we sometimes can’t tell him from Austen when listening to chatting in the hallway. Recognizing letters A to Z. Naming items pictured in books. And amazingly, reading aloud sight words and simple sentences made of sight words!
