Love

Austen, You’re everything to me; the most spirited and exciting and
affectionate person. And Gage is my smiling laughing sweetheart; he
moves and laughs as much as you did during your crazy baby stage.

You two are such amazing people with so much potential. Always be
there for each other.

Love, Mommy

Re: Baby food help!

Wish I could be more help, but mine weren’t interested in “real” food
until much later. I would say as long as it’s a food you’ve
introduced already and it’s big or small enough that he can’t choke on
it, let him have fun with whatever he wants. At just 6 months solids
are for experimentation not for nutrition anyway. I bet he likes to
gnaw on foods for teething. Adam loves rice cakes. Erin loved the
dried snap pea snack from Trader Joe’s.

Baby food help!

It’s becoming obvious that Gage prefers “real” food to pureed baby
food. With gusto he eats (gnaws on) pizza crust, carrots, tiny
amounts of vanilla ice cream, mushed avacado — and grabs (nosedives)
for other people’s food. Any ideas? Links?
