I studied liberal arts and philosophy at Columbia University for 10 years and taught introductory philosophy courses at Columbia College (Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Hume, etc.). In the past few years, I’ve been working on a novel, although Austen has seriously distracted me from my work.

Happy Mia Day!

Mia, one of Austen’s best friends, celebrated her second birthday at the park. It was a warm afternoon with friends and cake.

Mia is nice enough to remind everyone what day it is today.

Later in the party, after Chris surreptitiously dissapeared, a surprise visitor arrived. Mia may not have enjoyed the visitor but Austen loved him!
