Today I giant ruler almost fell on Gage’s car seat as Mommy was carrying it inside. His eyes went wide and he moved his head, although he didn’t yell or complain. He goes with the flow … he has too with a big sister who almost knocks his stroller over before Mommy catches it.

Staten Island Zoo
Austen & Gage enjoyed the afternoon visiting the Staten Island Zoo on an unusually warm day.

70 degrees
It’s so wonderful today. Gage was in heaven. The first nice weather day of his life (he was born during a snow storm). His little face was such a mush of smiles.
Mr. Fussypants
Gage has been up from 5:30 til 9:30pm (a long time for a newborn!!!!). He’s reminding Mommy of Austen with all his fussing and moving and facial contortions. The good news is that he’s not nearly as loud as Austen. Mommy will never have a child like her nieces and nephew who sit contentedly for hours. Oh well, she hopes this means Gage will be a super active mind like Austen.
One very cute part was when Mommy got exasperate and did what she used to do with three-month-old Austen and put Gage down on the floor on a blanket. He seemed almost ready for playtime, looking around while testing out his arms and legs.First friend, Gabriella
