Gymboree
At JFK doing the “Gage smile.”
It was a little tough saying bye. Extra, new stress for Mommy. But
Grandma and Grandpa having fun with the babies … Oops, “big girl”
and “baby brother.”
That’s how I roll (with big sis)…
Loves his rice and can’t wait!
4s are so cool!
Finally, no more baby monitor for Austen. She’s independent enough to
make her way to our room if she needs something. Yes, we were
overprotective parents — and she’s a spirited child. For so long we
needed to keep an eye on her if she woke up yelling at night or if she
was getting in trouble and had to stay in her room.
We’ve been talking a lot about values and having serious discussions
about them. Sharing. Empathy. Death and Loss. Missing people who
you can’t see everyday. Saying “Hello,” “Goodbye” and “Thank You.”
Being a good sister. Being a good brother. Being nice to someone
who’s not feeling so good, or who’s crying. Austen is such a
fascinating person to talk to … and always animated.
