Gone Fishing

Last minute plan to fish today. Walked the neighborhood for worms – found one crusty one on a dry sidewalk. Found the princess fishing rod in garage and practiced how to operate it. Arrive at nearby park with fresh water fish. Cut worm in half and baited up. 1 minute later, worm was eaten but no fish. Baited up other half of worm and tried again. Caught a 6″ floppin slimey active fish!
Realized nobody wanted to actually touch the fish to unhook it. Watched it flop around and go back into the water on its own. Success!! 🙂
No more worms. Tried chicken nuggets but the pieces kept falling off the hook; fish didn’t mind the easy food though.

Lessons re-learned: be spontaneous and have more worms on hand.
